Terms of Service

Last updated: June 28, 2026

These terms govern your download and use of NotchPilot ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

NotchPilot grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. A purchased license unlocks continued use after the trial. You may not resell the paid app as your own, or sublicense or redistribute it. (If the app's source code is published under an open-source license, that license governs the source code separately.)

2. Free trial and purchase

The app offers a 14-day free trial of all features, with no account required. After the trial, a one-time payment of US$10 unlocks continued use. There is no subscription. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, and your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms.

3. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

4. Installation & software signing

The app is distributed as a signed macOS application. Depending on the build you download, macOS Gatekeeper may ask you to confirm before opening it the first time. Follow the install instructions provided with your download. You are responsible for installing the app only from official links we provide.

5. The automation feature — your responsibility

NotchPilot can generate and run user-space scripts you create (for example: opening URLs, drafting emails, running Shortcuts). The app is designed to refuse destructive operations and to let you review each automation before saving it. You are responsible for reviewing every automation and for what your saved automations do on your Mac, and you run them at your own risk.

6. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the usage figures it displays are exact — they are read from third-party CLI files and may be estimates.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP.

8. Third-party tools & trademarks

NotchPilot reads data produced by Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex tools; your use of those tools is governed by their own terms. NotchPilot is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI or Apple. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Intellectual property

The NotchPilot name, branding, and website are the property of the developer. Any bundled third-party components are used under their respective licenses.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Payment, tax, and consumer-rights matters are additionally handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record under its terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change.
